1999-2003

The F.F.A.F.F. is an annual event that I started during my Freshmen year (1999/2000) at The University of the Arts, PA.

PLAY MOVIE

As a Freshmen, you have to go through the school's art foundation program and don't get to start showcasing your films until the second semester of your Sophomore year. Being a high-energy filmmaking maniac with a ton of pre-college movies made on my own time, I couldn't wait for this so I made arrangments and hosted my own film festival, showcasing the works of students who had anything they wanted to show. I think its important to get your work shown in as many different environments as possible and this festival is an extra chance for the students at Uarts.

Over the years, the response to the festival has been so good, I've had no choice but to continue it until my graduation. In the past, we have had people come out in the asile wearing costumes, a dummy head fly over the audience on a string and a recent performance by Mr. Dead Guy. The title "Free For All" is true to the show's nature. Anything goes.
